Terms & Conditions AtollBuy

Welcome to Atollbuy. By registering, accessing, or using our multi-vendor marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These rules apply to all users, including both buyers and sellers operating within the Republic of Maldives.

1. Lawful Conduct and Religious Standards

Zero Tolerance for Illegal Activity: Buyers and sellers must strictly adhere to the laws of the Republic of Maldives. You may not use Atollbuy to facilitate, promote, or engage in any unlawful activities.
Religious and Cultural Compliance: Users are strictly prohibited from posting, listing, or sharing any materials, media, or text that is illegal or against Islamic principles and Maldivian religious values.

2. Anti-Fraud and Prohibited Goods

Accurate Descriptions: Sellers must ensure that all products perfectly match their written descriptions, specifications, and provided images.
No Deceptive Practices: Scams, fraudulent activities, bait-and-switch tactics, and counterfeit goods are completely forbidden on the platform.
Prohibited Financial Products: The listing, trading, or selling of cryptocurrencies, digital tokens, fiat money exchange services, or related financial products is strictly prohibited.

3. Pricing and Fair Competition

Seller Price Control: Sellers have complete autonomy and authority over setting the prices for their own listings. Atollbuy does not dictate, cap, or regulate product pricing.
Price Variations: Because Atollbuy operates as an open, competitive multi-vendor marketplace, buyers may see the exact same product listed at different prices by different sellers. This is completely normal and permitted on the platform.
Professional Conduct: Sellers must respect the listings, products, and business strategies of other vendors. Any form of harassment, malicious interference, or disparagement aimed at competing sellers or their pricing is strictly prohibited.

4. Returns, Refunds, and Shipping

Returns and Refunds: All return policies, refund negotiations, and actual issuances of refunds are strictly managed between the buyer and the seller. Atollbuy does not facilitate, enforce, or manage any return or refund requests. (Note: Sellers are expected to comply with the Maldives Consumer Protection Act regarding defective goods).
Shipping and Handling: The seller is entirely responsible for arranging the shipping and handling of all purchased products.
Transit Liability: Any product defects, damages, or losses incurred during the shipping process are the sole responsibility of the seller.

5. Platform Fees and Subscriptions

Listing Limits and Shop Tiers: Sellers may list items for free up to a predefined limit. To list items beyond this limit or to access premium platform features, sellers must purchase upgraded Shop Tiers.
Sales Commissions: Atollbuy currently does not charge a commission on individual sales. However, Atollbuy reserves the right to implement sales commissions or transaction fees in the future. Sellers will be provided with adequate notice before any such changes take effect.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disputes

Platform Role: Atollbuy acts solely as a digital venue connecting independent buyers and sellers. We do not own, manage, or physically handle the goods listed by vendors.
User Conflicts: Any disputes, conflicts, or disagreements arising from a transaction are strictly between the buyer and the seller. Atollbuy is not responsible or liable for mediating these conflicts, nor for any damages, financial losses, or claims resulting from a transaction on our platform.

7. Violations, Bans, and Account Termination

Rule Enforcement: Compliance with these Terms and Conditions is mandatory. Atollbuy closely monitors the platform for violations of our policies.
Penalties and Delisting: Any user (buyer or seller) found to be breaking these rules, engaging in fraud, or posting prohibited content will face immediate consequences. Atollbuy reserves the right to delist products, suspend storefronts, or issue permanent bans from the platform without prior notice or liability.
