Safety and reporting AtollBuy

Listings, shop pages and reviews are written by the people who use AtollBuy. This page shows how to report what should not be here, and how to stop seeing a shop.

Report something

On a product page, tap Report this listing or Report this shop at the bottom. On a shop page it is under the contact section. Under each review there is a Report button.
Choose a reason (spam or a fake review, offensive or abusive, illegal or unsafe, misleading or a scam, counterfeit or not as shown, something else) and add a short note if you like. You need to be signed in, so we can follow up and stop misuse. Only AtollBuy staff see your report, never the shop or the reviewer.
You can send up to 10 reports a day, one per item.

What we do with a report

We aim to look at every report within 24 hours. Reports about illegal items are shown to our team first. Some cases need more checking and can take longer.
If a review, listing or shop breaks our Terms & Conditions, we remove the review text, take the listing down or remove the shop, and tell the owner why. If it does not, we close the report with no action. Every decision is recorded with who made it, when and why, and an administrator can undo a removal.
We cannot tell you the outcome of a single report, but a repeat report on something already removed is not needed.

Block a shop or hide a reviewer

Block this shop (product and shop pages) hides that shop’s listings in browsing and search while you are signed in. The shop is not told. The shop’s own page and any link to it still open, with a reminder that you blocked it and a way to undo that. Orders you already placed, your cart, and lists we build before you sign in are not changed.
Hide reviewer (under a review) stops you seeing that person’s reviews. Reviewers who posted anonymously stay anonymous.
Change your mind any time in Account → Blocked shops and people.
Blocking is about what you see. To get something removed for everyone, send a report as well.

Contact us

Email [email protected] or use the Contact us page, for anything you cannot report in the app (for example harassment from someone who contacted you outside AtollBuy, or a problem with a report you sent).
If you or someone else is in danger, call the police on 119 first. AtollBuy cannot respond to emergencies.
